Decree n. 10.457/2020 regulated tax incentives provided by Law n. 9440/1997 for the period of 2021-2025. The incentives relate to regional development and are applied to selected investment projects from the automotive sector.
The provisions for tax incentives related to regional development, concerning the Brazilian North, Northeast and Midwest regions, provided by Law n. 9440/1997, have been extended to selected investment projects from the automotive sector, for the period of 2021-2025. The selection of projects, whose deadline was provided by Provisional Measure 987/2020, closed on August 31 (link to the Decree).
