Federal government revises phytosanitary certification standards for certificates of origin and of interstate transit of vegetables

Through Ordinance N. 94, the federal government submits to public consultation, for a period of 60 days, the proposal for a Normative Instruction that institutes the National Phytosanitary Certification System of Origin (SINFITO), with the purpose of controlling the phytosanitary certification of regulated articles, in accordance with the established phytosanitary requirements.

The proposal revises Normative Instructions No. 28 and 33, which foresee the procedures for issuing the Vegetable Transit Permit and the Phytosanitary Certificates of Origin and Consolidated Origin, respectively.
