The Brazilian Health Regulatory Agency (ANVISA) finished the third phase of its regulatory simplification process, in accordance with Decree n. 10.139/2019. To date, ANVISA has consolidated 180 normative acts.



The Brazilian Health Regulatory Agency (ANVISA) finished the third phase of its regulatory simplification process, in line with Decree n. 10.139/2019, which regulated the Law of Economic Freedom (Law n. 13.874/2019) as to reduce regulatory costs related to excessive regulatory stock. The third phase consolidated 69 normative acts into 21 – 13 RDC Resolutions and eight Normative Instructions.

The results of the second phase were reported in the 21st edition of the Regulatory Report, while two more phases will be carried out by ANVISA – the fourth is expected to be finished by the end of August 2021 and the fifth, by the end of November 2021.
