The Brazilian National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP) launched a public consultation on the revision of the regulatory framework on incident reporting, transversally applied to the regulated market.
Public Consultation and Audience n.º 6/2022 from the Brazilian National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP) seeks to collect public contributions on a draft resolution intended to update the transversal regulatory framework on incident reporting, applicable to companies in the regulated market, including the E&P, transport and storage, production of byproducts and biofuels, and commercialization segments.
The proposal intends to revoke ANP Resolution n.º 44/2009, which currently provides the regulation on incident reporting and was considered outdated in relation to the best regulatory practices the new resolution intends to incorporate. The update comprises ANP’s 2020-2021 Regulatory Agenda.
