The Foreign Trade Chamber (CAMEX) at the Ministry of Economy reestablished the Private Sector Advisory Board (CONEX), designed to support CAMEX’s decision-making process related to foreign trade, investment and export financing.

The Foreign Trade Chamber (CAMEX) at the Ministry of Economy reestablished the Private Sector Advisory Board (CONEX) at CAMEX and, through GECEX Resolution n. 153/2021, approved its internal regulation. The advisory council aims at providing contributions and recommendations from private sector representatives to CAMEX’s decision-making process related to foreign trade, investment, and export financing.
The resolution determines board composition in article 1, including up to 20 civil society representatives from the following segments:
- Corporate association representatives from the manufacturing, agribusiness and service sectors;
- Companies from the manufacturing, agribusiness and service sectors;
- Consumer protection bodies; and
- Academic institutions.
