The Foreign Trade Chamber (CAMEX) updated the list of auto-parts not domestically produced under GECEX Resolution n. 23/2019, comprised of auto-parts treated as the “ex-tariff” regime, being subject to a reduced 2% import tariff rate. Those auto-parts are categorized as general auto-parts destined for production, or as capital goods (BK) or computer and telecommunications goods (BIT).

GECEX Resolution n. 196/2021 enacted by the Executive Management Committee (GECEX) at CAMEX included 31 auto-parts within 18 Mercosur Nomenclature Codes (NCM) to the list of auto-parts not domestically produced and excluded another 32 products within 18 NCM codes.
