The Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (MAPA) established a working group intended to propose a regulatory framework for bio-inputs within 120 days. The initiative comprises the Federal Government’s National Bio-Inputs Program.



Resolution n.º 1/2021 from the Strategy Council for the National Bio-Inputs Program at the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (MAPA) established a working group intended to propose, within 120 days, a regulatory framework for bio-inputs, as provided by Decree n.º 10.375/2020 (The National Program for Biobased Agricultural Inputs, or National Bio-Inputs Program) – more information in the 13th edition of the Regulatory Report).

The working group will be composed of seven members, responsible for analyzing the current legal framework related to bio-inputs, identifying normative conflicts, and proposing a regulatory framework for bio-inputs. It must present a final report (with the regulatory framework proposal) to the Secretariat for Innovation, Rural Development and Irrigation (SDI) at MAPA until December 30 (article 7).
