The Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (MAPA) postponed by 90 days the deadline for the submission of contributions to the public consultation on a normative instruction proposal regarding the production of phytosanitary products approved for organic agriculture.

The proposal establishes minimum requirements for phytosanitary inputs, and a classification of risk for production activities, related to organic agricultural production.

It also stipulates the publication of Manuals of Good Production Practices for each microbiologic agent by the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (Embrapa).

Contributions can be submitted through a digital form, available here (in Portuguese) until October 30. Previous contributions will also be considered.
