Ordinance n. 276/2020 requested a public consultation and publicized the draft of a PNE 2050 Report. The new plan retrieves the long-term planning of the 2030 National Energy Plan (PNE 2030), developed in 2007, in order to supplement it with greater strategic vision, accounting for instabilities as seen by the current Covid-19 pandemic.

The draft Report, an annex and a presentation (all in Portuguese) are available, and public contributions are to be submitted at this link.
