The National Mining Agency regulates the availability procedure of areas

The National Mining Agency published Resolution n. 24, which regulates the availability procedure of areas for research or mining. The procedure applies to areas that were linked to mining rights in the research or mining phases and have, for some reason, lapsed or expired.

The resolution is only valid for availability procedures that have not yet started, and it came into effect on the date of its publication, on February 4, 2020.

This regulation opens space for those areas to be offered to interested parties, representing an opportunity for new projects in the field.
