The Ministry of Infrastructure established new rules and procedures for the exploration of idle port areas, authorizing port authorities to cede idle areas to commercial activities. They are designed to foster the sustainable use of port areas, while reducing bureaucratic procedures.

The National Land Transport Agency (ANTT) updated and simplified the rules and procedures for concessionary transfers of concession and alterations in company control, applicable to all concession contracts under ANTT supervision.

The Foreign Trade Chamber (CAMEX) and the Central Bank of Brazil (BCB) updated the dispositions of the Brazilian Export Financing Program (PROEX), which provides export credit to Brazilian exporting companies. The Federal Government reduced in 10% the import duties applied to selected tariff lines classified as capital goods (BK) and computer and telecommunication goods (BIT), seeking to boost market competitiveness. The Foreign Trade Chamber (CAMEX) also updated the lists of approved BK and BIT products subject to temporary import duty exemptions under the “ex-tariff” regime.
