The Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (MAPA) enacted Ordinance n. 22.677/2020, updating agribusiness health and safety labor obligations. As part of a new federal government program on the simplification of labor legislation, the ordinance was designed to enhance the business environment while guaranteeing workers protection.

The National Investment Resolution n. 106/2020 and Resolution n. 107/2020 from the Ministry of Economy updated the list of capital goods (BK) and computer and telecommunications goods (BIT) subject to the temporary exemption on the Import Tax granted by the “ex-tariff” regime.

The proposals seek to harmonize the Brazilian regulation to the norms of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), improving industrial competitiveness and environmental protection.
