The Brazilian National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP) established the national specifications of green diesel biofuel, aimed at introducing its use and domestic production. In line with the National Policy on Biofuels (RenovaBio), it seeks to lower greenhouse gas emissions.

The National Council for Energy Policy (CNPE) determined the elaboration of a guideline proposal for the National Hydrogen Program. The introduction of hydrogen as a competitive energy source in Brazil requires the development of a new regulatory framework.

The National Land Transport Agency (ANTT) adopted new provisions on contract recomposition and corporate governance, applicable to federal highway infrastructure concessionaries. They are designed to improve legal security and predictability.

The Federal Government launched the Incentive Program for Highway Freight Transportation, designed to promote initiatives for the efficiency of highway freight transportation and the well-being of its workers. The adoption of electronic transport documents and the improvement of highway infrastructure are among its guidelines.
