The Ministry of Economy launched the “Balcão Único” initiative seeking to simplify the opening of businesses. It comprises a single digital form for company registrations that combine requirements from the three levels of government. The Foreign Trade Chamber (CAMEX) updated the list of auto-parts not produced domestically that are subject to a reduced 2% import tariff rate under the “ex-tariff” regime, and the Ministry of Economy approved the 2021 schedule for claim submissions to that list.
